The Giants hold the third general pick in the 2025 NFL Draft.
It is the 8th time in the last 11 years that the Giants will choose inside the top 10, and sports betting the 6th time considering that 2018 that the G-Men will select inside the top 6.
That isn't the kind of pattern that any NFL franchise wants, however it is where the Giants are right now.
The silver lining is that they have the chance to prepare a franchise cornerstone at Lambeau Field on Thursday night.
Oddsmakers believe that player will be Abdul Carter, the stud protective end out of Penn State.

BetMGM Sportsbook had Carter at -450 to go 3rd total on April 17, but has given that seen his chances shorten to -600. That rate brings an implied possibility of 85.7 percent.

Travis Hunter is the 2nd preferred to go to the Giants at No. 3 general at +400.

No. 3 overall choice wagering odds

Hunter is now an overwhelming favorite to go to the Browns at No. 2, but there is an outdoors chance that Cleveland picks quarterback Shedeur Sanders in that spot rather.

If that happens, the Giants could go with Hunter, a two-way star out of Colorado, rather.

For many of the 2024 season, it appeared like a foregone conclusion that the Giants would target a quarterback in this position, however basic manager Joe Schoen signed Russell Wilson and Jameis Winston in the offseason and has hinted the group likely will not be picking a signal-caller at No. 3.
The chances on Carter at this point are too brief to get associated with, but if you're trying to find an enjoyable Giants-related bet you can bet on there to be some turmoil in Round 1 with a little play on Sanders (22/1) to go No. 2 general, and after that Hunter (4/1) to go to Big Blue at No. 3.

It deserves keeping in mind that this is a long shot, so it's not likely to win, however I 'd rather spray something small on this path than lay severe juice on Carter, because there is a way this goes sideways.
PICK: Travis Hunter drafted No. 3 overall (+400, BetMGM)
